Meridian 1 Software delivers the state-of-the-art functionality and services of the Meridian 1 family of PBXs and Communication Server 1000.

CS 1000 Release 4.0 is the newest major software upgrade running on both Communication Server 1000 portfolio of IP PBXs and Meridian 1 PBXs. This software provides a seamless migration path for Meridian 1 to migrate to Succession.

CS 1000 supports call server and gateway redundancy, IP telephony scalability to 10,000 IP clients/call server, and survivable branch office solutions and inter-working with Nortel Networks Multimedia Communications Portfolio.
