Nortel’s Communication Server 1000 (CS
1000) is a full-featured IP-distributed Communications system
that delivers the benefits of network convergence, collaborative communications,
built-in reliability, and survivability. The CS 1000 has three primary
components:
- CS 1000 Call Server – controls system software
- Signaling Servers – call control and management
- Enterprise Media Gateways – communicates with analog and digital
lines
The CS 1000 has three
different models:
- CS 1000S – 1000 IP users and 960 Digital users
- CS 1000M – 15,000 IP users and 32,000 Digital users
- CS 1000E – 15,000 IP users and 6,000 Digital users
Internet Telephony products allow you to add IP Telephones, and the Integrated
Applications Portfolio offers simple, cost-effective solutions to help
increase employee productivity heighten customer satisfaction levels and
reduce costs.
