Design/Engineering
Today’s businesses need customized solutions not off the shelf preprogrammed solutions that are shoe horned to meet your business needs. At SharpComm we recognize the need to apply specific technologies to solve specific problems. Our Planning Services span all communications technologies - voice, data, and wireless - to assist in deploying new networks, migrating to VoIP, or deploying new network elements to increase communication and meet your business goals.
SharpComm's engineering team can design a customized end-to-end solution that meets your needs and your future goals. Current Technology and Applications include: voice, data, wireless, and converged technologies – to create new PBX and Key-system networks, or enhance existing networks to ultimately meet your business goals.
The process begins with an in-depth evaluation of your business communications needs and typically includes the following stages of the design process:
- Pre-Sales design – Consist of an in-depth assessment of business needs and objectives to be incorporated into the system design. Presentation of design with specifics on how the system will help to improve business objectives. Acceptance of the solution and a final design that is submitted for approval to order.
- Order process and Implementation – When the system is ordered specific milestone dates are established. All programmable design options are discussed with the appointed customer contact and a final program configuration template is developed. The final program design is matched against ordered hardware and if required change orders are issued to reflect the revisions. When the system is delivered all components and software are checked and verified for accuracy. The system is then programmed and placed into operation.
- Operational Review – Once the system is placed into service standard tests are conducted to insure the systems meets all manufacturer specifications. The system operation is evaluated against the design principles stated in the pre sales design to make sure the system is performing to expectations. If changes are required then the appropriate change order is issued.
- Post Design Review – Once the system has been operational for an extended period the design solution is compared to the business objectives for feedback on performance. If performance is not meeting expectations then a re-design my be implemented to meet the business objectives.
The SharpComm design team is certified and committed to provide the level of support required for today's complex communication environment. Our staff has exemplified this point by winning the Nortel Advantage Customer Satisfaction Excellence Award.
